Sachin Tendulkar Teams or Mumbai Indians are ready for second section of Indian Premier League 2009. First match Mumbai Indians Vs Chennai Super Kings at Cape Town, 4 p.m. (IST) on 18 April, 2009.

Sachin Tendulkar - The leading all time run scorer in Test and One Day Cricket Match and also one of the all time greats of the cricket game.

The Mumbai Indians are captain by master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. The team is coached by Pravin Amre, the former manager of the Indian Cricket Team and is owned by India's biggest conglomerate, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), which purchased the Mumbai franchise for $111.9-million (about R1 023), making it the most expensive in the IPL.

Mumbai Indians whose Indian Premier League 2008 campaign got off to a nightmare start when they lost Tendulkar to a hamstring injury, and under the captaincy of Indian offspinner Harbhajan Singh lost their first four matches.

The franchise's financial muscle saw it winning the right to host the semifinals and the final last year.
